352 ATSIZ, 521-551 H./1127-1156 AD, AS VASSAL OF THE GREAT SALJUQ SANJAR. Dinar (54?)8 H, Khwârizm. Album 1709.
2,64 g. GOLD Extremely rare Very fine The Great Saljuq sultan Sanjar is not mentioned on this coin, obviously resulting from a political conflict. But still Mas‘ûd is only referred to as
as-sultân al-mu‘zam, thus ranking inferior to the supreme sultan. Atsiz is content with the title al-malik al-mu‘zam.
KHANS OF KHOQAND

353 MUHAMMAD MURÂD KHAN IBN ‚ALÎM, 1260 H./1844 AD. Tilla 1260 H, Khoqand. Album -; Ishankhanov -; KM -.
4,54 g. GOLD Of highest rarity Very fine
The seven-day-reign of Murâd in 1260 H. was mentioned by S. Kh. Ishankhanov, Katalog monet Kokanda XVIII-XIX vv, Tashkent 1976 p. 4, but no coins were known to him. Also Eduard von Zambaur, Manuel p. 276 listed the Khan with the date of 1261 H., but the present coin clear confirms 1260 as the correct date.
